About SLOCAR

What Is SLOCAR

SLOCAR officially launched its inaugural race on February 17, 2025, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the Stevens Motorsports universe. This date is significant as it represents the debut of a league designed to offer a more accessible and entertaining racing experience, serving as a developmental platform for drivers aspiring to compete in the more intense FASCAR series.

In SLOCAR, participants race the same cars featured in FASCAR events, but the races are conducted at half the distance, allowing for a faster-paced and often more chaotic racing environment. This format provides a unique opportunity for drivers to hone their skills in a less demanding setting while still experiencing the thrill of competitive racing.

The inaugural race on February 17, 2025, set the tone for what SLOCAR aims to be: a fun, community-driven league where the emphasis is on enjoyment, skill development, and the occasional good-natured mayhem. As the series progresses, it continues to build a reputation for fostering new talent and providing fans with exciting, action-packed races.

For those interested in joining or following the series, SLOCAR offers a welcoming environment for both newcomers and seasoned racers looking to engage in a more relaxed yet still competitive racing atmosphere. If you want to learn more about SLOCAR or have any questions, feel free to contact us.

For more information and updates on upcoming races and events, visit the official Stevens Motorsports website or follow their social media channels, including their YouTube page.

Why Choose SLOCAR?

Same Cars, Shorter Races SLOCAR uses the exact same cars as FASCAR, but the races are half the distance. That means you get all the excitement of big-pack racing, drafting, and bumper-to-bumper chaos — just in a quicker, easier-to-manage format. Perfect for New Drivers It’s the ideal development series. Rookies can cut their teeth without committing to the full-length FASCAR races, learning how to survive the pack and make smart moves in a more forgiving environment. Fast-Paced Chaos Shorter races mean every lap matters. Mistakes are magnified, comebacks are more dramatic, and last-lap heroics happen more often. It’s intense fun without the endurance grind. Stepping Stone to FASCAR Many FASCAR stars started here. SLOCAR teaches the skills, instincts, and strategy needed to move up to the 'big league' while giving drivers room to experiment and grow. Community & Fun-First Focus Like FASCAR, SLOCAR thrives on community, laughs, and inside jokes. It’s not about being ultra-serious — it’s about enjoying racing, sharing moments with friends, and occasionally causing a little controlled chaos. Fan-Friendly Viewing Half-distance races mean shorter, more digestible events for spectators. Every race is action-packed, and there’s rarely a dull moment. If you're interested in joining the fun or want more information, feel free to contact us. You can also catch highlights and behind-the-scenes content on our YouTube channel, showcasing the excitement of SLOCAR and Stevens Motorsports.
